The School of Geographical Sciences and Urban Planning (SGSUP) at Arizona State University (ASU) seeks applications for a one-year Postdoctoral Research Scholar with an anticipated start date of March 1, 2020 and preferably should be filled by June 1, 2020. Renewal of the position is anticipated based on funding and performance.

The postdoctoral scholar will conduct research with Professor Amy Frazier on an NSF-sponsored award involving Near Term Forecasts of Global Plant Distribution, Community Structure, and Ecosystem Function.

The Postdoc will help design and execute research using a combination of novel environmental information and high spatial and temporal remote sensing. The Scholar should therefore have expertise in gathering, managing, and analyzing remotely sensed data as well as a good understanding of the application of these data to ecology and ecosystem function.
