Special Issue in Remote Sensing in Ecology and Conservation
Novel Remote Sensing Approaches to Inform the Ecology and Conservation of Protected Areas Worldwide

rp_art.jpgRemote sensing techniques provide a formidable opportunity to inform the management of protected areas, allowing e.g. to track threats, biodiversity status and the impacts of conservation actions. This special issue invites perspectives and research papers that specifically focus on novel applications of remote sensing for protected area management, using e.g. new sensors, new methods, and/or interdisciplinary approaches to address current challenges. High quality submissions for this special issue will be considered on a case-to-case basis for a full fee waiver, if authors are unable to pay the Article Processing Fees. Enquiries about potential submissions should be directed to RSEC.admin@zsl.org
