The Chair of Computational Landscape Ecology at TU Dresden is offering three interesting positions with the deadline for all applications being April 14, 2020:

1) 3-year full-time position as a researcher (preferably as a PostDoc) in the EU-Project BESTMAP: Modelling impacts of agri-environmental and climate measures on biodiversity and selected ecosystem functions

2) 3-year faculty position (further extension is possible), suitable for pursuing a PhD or further qualification as a PostDoc: Studying interrelations between biodiversity and ecosystem functions/services, especially in agroecosystems

3) 3-year faculty position (further extension is possible), suitable for pursuing a PhD or further qualification as a PostDoc: Application of Data Science/Artificial Intelligence to questions of landscape ecology and Earth System Sciences

The group from Prof. Dr. Anna Cord combines a wide range of methods such as field studies, ecological and biogeographical modelling, remote sensing, applied (geo)statistics and Machine/Deep Learning to investigate the effects of changes in land use and landscape structure on biodiversity, ecosystem functions and services.

The interviews for the three open positions are expected to take place between April 22 and 24. Applicants who would like to contribute their own ideas and initiatives to research and teaching and who enjoy working in an open-minded, international and creative team are especially welcome.
