An interesting 2-yr postdoc position is available as part of the research project “Megafauna complexity as a global driver of vegetation diversity” (MEGACOMPLEXITY) at Aarhus University (Denmark). This project aims to assess the extent to which megafauna shape vegetation structure in natural terrestrial ecosystems worldwide. The postdoc will contribute to the project through analyses combining information on vegetation dynamics from satellite-based remote sensing with macroecological and geographic data on fauna, land use, etc..
The position is for two years with the possibility of a one year extension and will start from January 1st, 2021, or as soon as possible hereafter. Application deadline is October 1st, 2020.
The postdoc will join Prof. Jens-Christian Svenning ‘s team within the Center for Biodiversity Dynamics in a Changing World (BIOCHANGE) and the Section for Ecoinformatics & Biodiversity (ECOINF).
